Dear Madam/Sir,

We appreciate all the support you have given to us in the previous year. To serve our members better, JATA continues to implement changes in its administrative system, and to expand our services in various ways to member companies who are connected to the Internet.
We amend the term of membership shall be from January 1st to December 31st as a fiscal year or calendar year. From 2005, we are sending the invoice every two years periodically.
Enclosed please find the JATA Check Sheet and the invoice for membership fee 2005-2006.
You are kindly advised to pay the membership fee by credit card or bank transfer by December 31st 2004.

No check is acceptable to avoid any trouble.
By money transfer: We inform you, however, we have to charge US$20 as a bank fee when the payment is made by bank transfer or bank draft. This charge has become necessary because of the problem of handling/processing fees being imposed by banks in Japan on such payments. The amount should be US120 dollars.
By credit card: Please be sure that there is no extra charge for payment made by credit card. We recommend you to pay 10,000 Japanese Yen Currency by credit card because the rate is advantageous.

The Certificate for 2005 & 2006, which identify you as a JATA Overseas Allied Member, will be issued and sent in January when the membership fee has been paid to us. The member card will not be issued from 2004.
Membership will automatically lapse according to the regulation if your payment is not acknowledged by us by the due date.

As for the JATA check sheet, please send by fax if the details are to be corrected.

Yours sincerely,
Jun Ishiyama
Director & Secretary General
