10月23日(金)、中国駐東京観光代表処首席代表、王偉氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問し、双方向での協力について意見交換されました。

「中国では国内旅行が復活しており、地方への旅という新しいトレンドが注目されています。自治体や中央政府が観光促進に力を入れ、PR活動を行っています。中国国内では、コロナ感染拡大防止対策に努めていますが、コロナ禍後の時代に向け、新しいスタイルの施設や旅行商品を用意しています」と、王偉氏

志村理事長は、「中国とのビジネストラックが運用化されましたが、コロナ禍の影響で旅行会社の関わり方やレジャー・トラベルの形が変化しているので、新しい傾向を注視しながら、次の時代に向かって行きたいと考えています。旅行会社のための視察旅行をはじめ、最新情報を提供していくことで、パンデミック後の回復を図れると思います」とコメントしました。

Mr. Wang Wei, Director, China National Tourism Office Tokyo, visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on October 23rd, Friday

During his visit, Mr. Wang Wei exchanged opinions about the cooperation with JATA for the recovery of bilateral tourism. “Domestic tourism in China has bounced back and we are observing a strong interest in travel to rural areas. The central and local governments run travel promotion events and while the country is still working to stop the infections, the industry is preparing to offer new accommodation facilities and tour products as soon as the pandemic is over,” said Mr. Wand Wei.

“Japan and China opened a “corridor” for business travelers but due to the impact of the pandemic, we expect that the ways in which travel agencies do business and people travel for leisure will change. The travel industry has to adapt to the changes and transition into the new normal. We can speed up the recovery after the pandemic is over by offering inspection tours and up-to-date travel information to the travel agencies,” said Mr. Shimura in reply.
