6月13日(月)、駐日ウズベキスタン共和国大使ムクシンクジャ・アブドゥラフモノフ閣下がJATA髙橋会長を訪問し、二国間における観光交流の回復について意見交換されました。
「ウズベキスタン入国際に新型コロナウイルス検査の陰性結果を取得する必要はありません。新型コロナ感染症の拡大を効果的に抑えているし、安全な渡航先として評価されています。2022年9月よりウズベキスタン航空のチャーター便を復活させる予定で、今後も日本人観光客の誘致に努めたく、JATAとの継続した協力をお願いしたいと思います。」

髙橋会長は、「この数ヶ月、日本政府は徐々に国境を開放する方向に動いており、旅行会社もパッケージツアーの再開に向けて準備を進めています。日本国内はアウトバウンド観光のニーズが高い一方で、まだ海外旅行を先延ばしにしている傾向が見受けられています。」 とコメントしました。

His Excellency Mr. Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan, visited Mr. Hiroyuki Takahashi, Chairperson of JATA, on June 13th, Monday

During the visit, H.E. Mr. Abdurakhmonov shared ideas about the restoration of travel exchange between the two countries.
“COVID testing or proof of vaccination are no longer required to enter Uzbekistan. The country is considered to be one of the Covid-safe destination and we are ready to welcome Japanese visitors. Uzbekistan Airways plans to reinstate charter flights beginning in September 2022. We would like to strengthen our efforts to attract Japanese visitors and would appreciate your continued cooperation.”

“Over the few past month Japanese government is slowly moving to open the borders and travel companies is preparing to resume package tours. Outbound tourism remains in high demand. However, the most of Japanese public still prefer to postpone travelling abroad.” commented Mr. Takahashi
