ヒロシ・和合・ロハス氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問

5月16日(月)、コロンビア大使館通商、PROCOLOMBIAコロンビア貿易振興機構 副総裁、 ヒロシ・和合・ロハス氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問し、アウトバウンド促進協議会 (JOTC)の活動に対して感謝を表し、今後のJATAとの協力関係についてお話されました。

「コロナ禍におけるオンライントラベルマート及びウェビナーへの参加機会を頂きありがたいです。今後も日本人観光客の誘致に努めたく、JATAとの継続した協力をお願いしたいと思います。コロンビアの感染状況は地域によって差はありますが、比較的落ち着いています」

志村理事長は、「日本はCOVID-19関連の水際対策緩和が図られましたが、更なる緩和が必要です。現在は、外務省がコロンビアの発出する感染症危険情報はレベル2になっていますが、危険度の引き下げを心待ちにしています。 国境規制を徐々に緩和しており、アウトバウンド観光はほぼ再開できる状態になっています。一方で原油価格の高騰、円安、物価高とコロナ以外での逆風もありますが、大使館とも引き続き協力し、アウトバウンド振興に努めたいと思います」とコメントしました。

Mr. Hiroshi Wago Rojas, Commercial Counsellor, Embassy of Colombia, Vice President of ProColombia Japan, visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on May 16th, Monday

At the meeting, Mr. Hiroshi Wago Rojas expressed appreciation for the activities of Japan Outbound Tourism Council and further cooperation with JATA. “We are happy to have the opportunity to participate in the online travel mart and webinar during the pandemic. We would like to strengthen our efforts to attract Japanese visitors and would appreciate your continued cooperation. The infection situation in Colombia varies from region to region but it is relatively calm.”

“Japan is easing its COVID-19 related border restrictions but it’s necessary to consider about extra mitigation measures. At the present time, on Disease Risk Information by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Columbia is announced as Level 2 area (avoid non-urgent and/or nonessential travel), but we need a lowering it to Level 1 to restart tourism flow. We will be continuing to support the Embassy in travel promotion in spite of other negative factors such as rise in oil prices, yen’s decline, soaring costs that hamper the recovery of tourism,” commented Mr. Shimura.
