8月25日(水)、タイ国政府観光庁東京事務所の所長セークサン・スィープライワン氏がJATA菊間会長を訪問し、外国人客利用のサンドボックスモデルについて説明しました。
「サンドボックスモデルを利用したツアーをJATA会員会社に提供したと思います」と話され、日本とタイ国の地方の双方向交流を進める活動に関しても協力の要請を寄せられました。

菊間会長は、海外旅行の再開に備えて、大国のプロモーション活動に協力すると応じました。

Mr. Seksan Sripraiwan, Director of Tokyo Office, Tourism Authority of Thailand, visited JATA Chairperson Jungo Kikuma, on August 25th, Wednesday

During the visit, Mr. Seksan Sripraiwan talked about the Sandbox model designed to welcome foreign visitors during the pandemic. “We are considering offering tours using the Sandbox model to travel agencies members of JATA. We would also like to promote mutual exchange between local areas in Thailand and Japan and will appreciate your support in this direction, too.”

Mr. Kikuma said that JATA will support promotional activities as the two countries move forward and prepare for the restart of international travel.
