ベッキー・イップ副理事長がJATA髙橋会長を訪問

7月27月(木)、香港政府観光局のベッキー・イップ副理事長がJATA髙橋会長を訪問し、両地域のインバウンド・アウトバウンドの状況と今後の観光戦略やその具体策についてのお話しをされました。ベッキー副理事長からは、次の戦略として、旅行会社を中心としたSNSを活用したプロモーションの説明がありました。髙橋会長からは、日本からのアウトバウンドの復活を2023年の末ごろまでにコロナ前までの状況に戻したい旨の説明をしました。

香港からは、約700万人の香港人が、平均年5回の海外旅行に出ており、香港人の人気の行先は圧倒的に日本であることの説明がありました。今後も両地域の連携を深め、観光を更に促進していきましょうとのお話がありました。

Ms. Becky Ip, Deputy Executive Director of HONG KONG TOURISM BOARD, visited Mr. Takahashi, Chairperson of JATA on Thursday, July 27.

On July 27th (Thursday), Hong Kong Tourism Board deputy Executive Director, Ms.Becky Ip visited JATA Chairman Takahashi and talked about the situation of inbound and outbound tourism in both regions, future tourism strategies and concrete measures.

Ms. Becky explained the next strategy, promotion using SNS, mainly by travel agencies. Mr. Takahashi explained that he would like to restore the situation before COVID-19 by around the end of 2023.

From Hong Kong, about 7 million Hong Kong people travel abroad five times a year on average, and it was explained that the most popular destination for Hong Kong People is overwhelmingly Japan. Mr. Takahashi said that he would like to deepen cooperation between the two regions and further promote tourism.
