9月15日(火)、駐日タンザニア連合共和国の特命全権大使フセイン・A・カタンガ閣下がJATA志村理事長を訪問

9月15日(火)、駐日タンザニア連合共和国の特命全権大使フセイン・A・カタンガ閣下が志村理事長を訪問し、タンザニアが観光地としての知名度を上げるために、観光促進について意見交換されました。「タンザニアの多様な観光資源を日本の観光客に知らせるため、JATAの指導をいただいて、様々な促進事業に参画していきたいと考えています」

志村理事長は、「JATAは、ウェビナーやトラベルマートを定期的に実施するので、タンザニアの観光資源や最新情報などを紹介できます。また、毎年開催するツーリズムEXPOジャパンでも、観光業界や一般のお客様にアピールできます。コロナ禍後に、お客様の海外旅行への意欲を向上させるため、積極的に促進活動に力を入れていきます」とコメントされました。

H.E. Mr. Hussein A. Kattanga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania in Japan, visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on September 15th, Tuesday

During the meeting. H.E. Mr. Kattanga exchanged opinions about the promotion of Tanzania as a travel destination in Japan. “Tanzania is extremely rich in natural and cultural travel resources which is still little known in Japan. We would like to introduce these resources to the Japanese travel market by participating in JATA’s promotional activities.”

“JATA organizes webinars and online business meetings which are good platforms to introduce Tanzania to the members of JATA. Tourism EXPO Japan is another opportunity to promote Tanzania to the travel industry and the general public in Japan. One of our most important tasks now is to stimulate the travelers to travel once the pandemic is over and we will work on this,” said Mr. Shimura in reply.
