10月5日(月)、駐日スペイン大使館観光参事官、日本駐在スペイン政府観光局のハイメ・アレハンドレ局長がJATA志村理事長を訪問

10月5日(月)、日本駐在スペイン政府観光局の局長に着任されたハイメ・アレハンドレ氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問し、現在の観光促進活動やコロナ禍後の観光復興に向けてお話されました。「パンデミック収束前であっても、観光促進活動を継続していきます。コロナ禍後に、日本市場のニーズにあった観光コンテンツの提案を検討しているので、JATAのアドバイスをいただいて新商品をPRしていきたいと思います」

志村理事長は、「現在の日本では、観光目的の海外旅行はできません。国際交流再開の後は、以前同様に観光促進活動の相互協力を続けていきましょう」と応じられました。

Mr. Jaime Alejandre, Director of the Tourist Office of Spain in Japan、Embassy of Spain, visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on October 5th, Monday

During his meeting with President Shimura, Mr. Alejandre talked about Turespana’s promotional activities at present and the recovery of travel after the end of the New Coronavirus pandemic. “We continue our promotional activities even during the pandemic. We are currently assessing which of our new tour products can meet the needs of the Japanese travel market. We would appreciate your advice on how to approach the market and will consider it when we promote Spain as a travel destination in Japan.”

“At present outbound tourism is not permitted in Japan. Once the situation is under control again and the borders are open for overseas travel, JATA will be able to collaborate with you for the promotion of travel and tourism,” said Mr. Shimura in reply.
