1月27日(月)、 グアム政府観光局理事会会長ソニー・アダ氏とプレジデント兼CEOピラー・ラグアナ氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問

1月27日(月)、 グアム政府観光局理事会会長ソニー・アダ氏とプレジデント兼CEOピラー・ラグアナ氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問し、日本からグアムへの観光需要の復活について意見交換されました。「定期便に加え、チャーターの就航によって、今年も、日本からの観光客数の更なる拡大を期待しています。市場の多様化も含めて、持続可能な観光開発を進めていきたいと考えています」

志村理事長は、JATAの若者のアウトバウンド推進事業である「ハタチの一歩」へのグアムの支援に対して感謝を表し、2020年も同事業へのサポートを要望されました。

Mr. Sonny Ada, Chairman, and Ms. Pilar Laguana, President & CEO of Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB), visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, Chairman of JATA, on January 27th, Monday

During the visit, Mr. Ada and Ms. Laguana discussed the recovery of the Japanese travel to Guam. “In addition to regular flights, we rely on charter flights to further increase the number of Japanese visitors. Our action plan for tourism development, which among other goals includes diversification of visitor segments, is focused on sustainable growth, in line with the sustainable development goals.”

JATA President Shimura expressed gratitude for the GVB’s support for the “My First Overseas Experience at 20” project and asked for GBV’s continued cooperation in the project.
