10月16日(金)、大韓航空 日本地域本部長の李 碩雨氏がJATA坂巻会長を訪問し、コロナ禍の現状について意見交換されました。

李 碩雨氏は「現在の国際旅行が中止されている状況下ではオンライ・ンイベントが人気ですが、国境制限の緩和後、感染者数の少ないアジアの国々間での国際往来再開に期待しています」と述べられました。

坂巻会長は、「日本ではこの7月、経済回復を図って、Go To Travelキャンペーンが開始されました。JATAとして、国際交流の再開に向けて、会員会社を対象に世界中の観光地の最新情報を配信しています。現在、『ウィズコロナ』での安全・安心な生活や経済活動等に努力しています」とコメントされました。

※ 大韓航空は2020年10月から週1便ソウルと大阪を結ぶ直行便を運航していましたが、11月からは週2便に増便する予定です。

Mr. Lee Suk Woo, Regional Director & Managing Vice President, Japan, Korean Air, visited Mr. Nobuaki Sakamaki, Chairman of JATA, on October 16th, Friday

During the meeting, Mr. Lee Suk Woo talked about the business circumstances at present and commented, “As the restrictions on international travel continue, online events are becoming more and more popular. Once the border restrictions are eased, though, we believe that we will be able to restart international travel, first between the Asian countries which have a small number of infections.”

“In order to assist the recovery of the economy the Japanese government initiated the Go To Travel campaign in July. At present, JATA dedicates its effort to disseminating up-to-date information about overseas destinations. As we are getting used to life with the Coronavirus, JATA will continue to provide its member companies with the latest travel information about overseas destinations,” said Chairman Sakamaki in reply.
