4月25日(月)、グアム政府観光局、ミルトン・モリナガ理事会会長やカール・T・C・グティエレス局長兼CEOら幹部がJATA髙橋会長、志村理事長を訪問し、日本からグアムへの観光需要の復活について意見交換されました。

グアムでの感染レベルは比較的低く、バケーションだけでなく、修学旅行などの旅行先として人気度が高いです。近い将来、日本への入国制限が緩和され、航空会社がグアム行きの直行便を再開することを期待しています」とモリナガ氏は述べられました。

JATAの志村理事長は、ツーリズムEXPOジャパンへの継続的な参加に対して感謝を表し、「2022年のツーリズムEXPOは新しい観光時代のシンボルとなり、9月にお会いできることを楽しみにしています」と希望されました。

Mr. Milton Morinaga, Board Chairman, Mr. Carl Tommy Cruz Gutierrez, President & CEO, Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) Representatives visited Mr. Hiroyuki Takahashi, Chairperson of JATA, Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on April 25th, Monday

During the visit, both sides discussed the recovery of the Japanese travel to Guam.
“Infection level is comparatively low, this fact makes Guam very popular destination not only for vacation but for school and educational trips as well
We hope that arrival restrictions in Japan and limited number of entry permissions will be eased in the near future, and Air companies will resume direct flights from all parts of Japan to Guam” said Mr. Morinaga.
JATA President Shimura expressed gratitude for the continued participation in Tourism EXPO Japan.
“Tourism EXPO Japan 2022 will become a symbol of new tourism era and we look forward to seeing you in September”.
