4月25日(月)、韓国、大韓航空の副社長、崔 晶皓氏がJATA髙橋会長を訪問し、国際往来の再開、日韓関係について意見交換されました。

崔 晶皓氏は「政権交代を機に日韓関係が新たな転機を迎える可能性が高いです。観光産業へのいい影響を与えると期待できるでしょう」と述べられました。
髙橋会長は「日本入国規制が緩和されると日韓両国の観光交流が再開し、パンデミック前のレベルを超えて拡大するでしょう。メディアの影響力も大きいことからポジティブな報道が大切です」とコメントされました。

Mr. Choi Jungho, Executive Vice President of Korean Air, visited JATA, on April 25th, Monday

During the visit, Mr. Choi Jungho exchanged opinions about the recovery of the bilateral exchange between Japan and South Korea and Japan-Korea relations.

Mr. Choi Jungho said, “It is highly likely that the change of government will mark a new turning point in Japan-Korea relations. We can expect it to have a positive impact on the tourism industry.

“The easing of pandemic-related border controls for visitors will be start for the recovery of the bilateral exchange between Japan and South Korea. The number of visitors may exceed the pre-pandemic level. It’s also important to have positive content in media, because it has a powerful influence”, said Mr. Takahashi in reply.
