2月4日(火)、U.S. Travel国際マーケティングマネージャーのマイケル・マーティン氏とプレスオペレーションズ・リードマネージャーのキャティー・レイノールズ氏がJATA志村理事長を訪問し、IPW2020年について説明されました。「IPW2020はラスベガスで開催されます。プログラムにはネットワーキングタイムの充実や最新情報の発信などに力を入れていきますので、日本の旅行業界から多くの方々に参加していただきたい」と要望をされました。

志村理事長は、「2020年も多くの企業からの参加を予想していますので、様々なネットワーキングイベントを提供していけば、ツアー商品の多様化や日本人観光客の増加が期待できるでしょう」とコメントされました。

懇談の様子

Mr. Michael Martin, U.S. Travel、Manager, International Marketing, and Ms. Cathy Reynolds, Lead Manager, IPW Press Operations, visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on February 4th, Tuesday

During the visit, Mr. Martin and Ms. Reynolds talked about the program of IPW 2020. “The International POW WOW this year will take place in Las Vegas. The program will include more networking events and we are planning to add an educational component to it. We expect to receive an ever-greater number of participants from the Japanese travel industry.”

“We expect representatives of many travel agencies to attend IPW this year, too. The networking events will facilitate the creation of new tour products and result in more Japanese visitors to the USA during the seasons following the IPW,” said Mr. Shimura in reply.
