6月10日(木)、駐日ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ大使シニシャ・ベリャン閣下がJATA志村理事長を訪問し、コロナ禍後のボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナの観光促進開始に向け、必要な準備について意見を求められました。「東京オリンピックが終わりましたら、ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ観光促進ウェビナーを実施したいと考えています。可能であれば、JATAの協力をお願いしたい」と要望されました。

志村理事長は、「日本でもワクチン接種が進んでいます。日本政府もワクチンパスポート導入の準備をしており、東京オリンピック・パラリンピック終了後に国際交流が再開されると思われます。旅行会社を対象に、情報提供をしていけば来年度の海外観光旅行需要の復活につながるでしょう」と応じられました。

H.E. Mr. Sinisa Berjan PhD, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Japan, visited Mr. Tadashi Shimura, President of JATA, on June 10, Thursday

During the visit, Ambassador Berjan discussed the necessary promotional activities during the preparation for the restart of international travel. He added, “After the end of the Tokyo Olympics & Paralympics, the embassy is planning to organize and hold a tourism webinar which will introduce the attractions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Japanese market. We would appreciate your assistance and guidance in the realization of this project.”

“The Covid-19 inoculations in Japan are advancing as we speak. The Japanese government is working on the introduction of vaccine passports and once the Olympic Games are over, we can expect that international travel exchange will restart. The travel information which you provide to the travel agencies in Japan through your webinar will facilitate the tour-planning process and support the recovery of travel demand next year,” said President Shimura in reply.
